Although have been to social in Bengaluru, this turned out to be a good place n guess I’ll be a regular here. Location is very easy n in fact you get to know things because they’re near to this place that shows its spread as identity. On a busy Sunday evening we were very doubtful whether we might get tables here but staff are miracle workers. They conjure up places to accommodate you without making you wait for long time. Don’t try to sit outside in the smoking zone because they don’t serve alcohol there.I had a cold so started with Hot shoddy n this magic potion really worked n I was feeling better by the time I came out so I must thank the mixologist, then went on to try a game of sling, followed by pacific rim, 3 red wine sangrias, longest long island iced tea in electric flavour, even though in no mood to eat tried their potato wraps and chicken fracha to munch. Place is very much spacious, special mention is that DJ who was brilliant today, prices aren’t high compared to other places in CP so can visit anytime one wishes. Also another important thing I observed n want to mention is that they’ve a lady bouncer kinda woman who takes care of female customers n it’s good move. Hope pubs in Bengaluru also realize the sensitivity of the issue and appoint some women. Overall extremely satisfied and would love to visit again. Keep going people those who made it happen

Place in checklist from almost 6 months now. Previously we had been there, they refused to allow us because we were wearing clogs !! Yes. This happened to us and many of my friends said- bhai hum yaha nahi aayenge phir se!
But I’m not like that because I’m a hardcore foodie and believe when we’re in their turf we should obey restaurants policy so that others can have good time.
Anyway place was pretty empty on a weekday so got our entry (we were dressed for it this time). They’ve this system of digital connection button stand through which you can summon waiter and demand your needs( don’t know whether that actually works as we had to raise our hands to get their attention). I felt this method very useful for differently abled so kudos to the team which thought about this option.
Place is small but well planned and set. Wooden walls and cosy chairs give you perfect pub feel with a small stage where frequent live music is organised. Bar is very widely expressed and menu is exhaustive.
Ordered few beers with chicken nachos, Afghani chicken and wok fish fry for starters. Mutton rahra was delicious and of proper portion with roomali roti which was bit thick. Everything were cooked perfectly n flavoured with right spices. Congrats for the wonderful chef. Prices won’t burn your pockets so you can always visit this place whenever you feel like reaching for good food and good music. Definitely going back again.

Interesting find in busy Khan market roads. Very well designed interiors which makes you feel comfortable. Chose rooftop n immediately regretted it. Although they’ve put some thought into designing it, I personally didn’t like the outdoor seating as much as interiors. Mixologist is darn good so don’t give a second thought about reaching to their cocktails first. I personally liked that absinthe one. Eclectic non vegetarian platter is truly eclectic. Snapper escabeche, must try Belgian pork belly which is slow cooked for 18hrs!! Chef is very good so have no complaints here. Staff are courteous n very helpful so feel free to settle down n talk to them n choose what you like. Afterall it’s the experience that matters n its a kind of place where you’ll want to go again. Prices are on par with Khan Market so needs no further explanation. I’ll go back again for some delicious food and exotic beverages.

Another bucket-list checked with this place. There are only two places where you want to be to enjoy amazing view of bengaluru and skyye is one among them. Although I was invited here by friends from many years hadn’t been able to, until now. Place is on the 16th floor of ub city with security people crawling from lift till you reach your tables. They have reservation system so please do it before visiting to get good tables. Before it gets dark you can enjoy the awesome view of bengaluru and wonder why we’ve destroyed our city of green ! Once it gets dark the floor will be lit and music hits you well to make you want to dance. They have some card thing to promote membership which confuses some people. Tried their Twilight bikinis, slurring Weissman in beginning and then went for kamikaze shots and red wine sangria. Appetizers were less to offer but prawn tempura with Thai basil sauce and peri peri basted chicken with blue cheese dip were perfect so I guess they’ve a point in limiting food menu and giving extensive drinks menu. Wanted to finish it up with some main course and we were suggested to try Massan lamb curry with steamed rice and it was just perfect the way it should be. Lamb was cooked well and that grated coconut added delicious flavour. We wanted to spend some time there but we were disappointed by rain which came when we were in between our food. Maintenance, service, drinks and food were all good. Prices are bit high but that’s expected and justified. Going back again sometime when there are more crowd to enjoy the dance floor and more.

Another bucket-list place checked. Decided suddenly so paid a hurried visit but after going there decided to take some time with their flavours n menu and enjoy the place. I cant think of other place which can serve more variety of European dishes than this place in Bengaluru except for premium hotels. Very thoughtful design of white and black and staff are super friendly. Tried their Duet of chicken skewers, lamb kibbeh+quesso and French fries for starters with sangria and martinis. Then tried their German wurstel and sautéed onions, cheesy Alfredo penne with smoked chicken for main course. We wanted to eat more but our max capacity was reached that day. Prices are bit towards higher side but totally worth it. Good place and warm ambiance. Definitely going back to try their breakfast menu.

This was in my list from over a year now. Finally got an opportunity to go for a friend’s birthday lunch here. Heard so much about their interiors but frankly was delighted to witness it first hand. This was my first visit to a Japanese cuisine so didn’t know much about what to order and what might be good to me. The staff were so helpful in explaining and also suggesting what we may like. Tried their sushi platter except spiced tuna and it was just every bit good as I had imagined. Struggled with chopsticks as we were new to them but I’m happy for visiting it. Then for main course the Mi goreng which was very delicious and filling with chicken and eggs and perfectly spiced, tried mandarin chocolate velvet cake for desserts and oh boy did I like it? Chocolate mousse was so exotic and dressing was simple and fulfilling. Chose Shanghai sunset and Royal punch of black currant and litchi for drinks and both were delicious. Ambiance is awesome, service is brilliant and food was delicious. What more you need to enjoy cool Bangalore evening? Definitely going back again soon. Prices are bit on higher side but that’s the price for all the hard work they’ve put to this place.

Long lasting wish fulfilled with visiting of this place which is perfect in almost every way. Located in the heart of bengaluru its very easy to not miss. Place is very huge volume wise with separate dining n seating arrangements for different purposes. What mostly catches your attention is their collection of collectables from bygone eras rock culture. Guitars, dresses and portraits will force that heritage into you even if you don’t know much about all that stuff. Kudos to the interior design firm. Tried their hurricane with few beers for drinks during happy hours so we were in for a treat. Tried their best interests such as nacho palooza veg, jumbo combo non veg for starters. They were enough to fill two grown ups so couldn’t order their burger. Staff are super friendly and courteous. What I really liked is that they understood our needs even before we tell anything. They explained everything and kept checking us out throughout, manager also came and enquired about us n made sure we feel comfortable. Food quality is very good, speed of service too, their music collection is cool. Prices are bit high but it’s totally worth it. I’m definitely going back to try their rest of the menu. Hard rock café absolutely rocks !!

It’s a legendary place so doesn’t need much introduction. For others, its one of the oldest breweries in Bangalore. Checked it out on a Friday noon for lunch with a friend. Wanted to try their beers so ordered phat Abbot and sacred cow and as expected they were crisp and blended not too old and not too plain. Coupled them with spicy fried calamari which I loved with mayonnaise, old style chicken fry which was exquisite and spicy fried prawns which were good. Ordered a Greek pizza which came hot and thin crust just as we wanted. Couldn’t try their other flavours because I wanted to save them for future visits and was full by all of this. Ambiance is very special and service is quick. Very big space for handling bigger crowd so definitely it deserves 4 ratings. I deducted 1 because one waiter was particularly not attentive and made us wait for ordering from menu and shared table concept was good until a group of talkative people joined us. They were disturbing us so much that we had to shout at each other to talk. Overall nice experience with good beers and food. Definitely going back there for more of them.

This was in my list from almost a year now and today was its lucky day. Visited it with a friend when we met after a long time and had very little time to spend for lunch. Its location gave us geographical advantage but its visit gave us craving for more. Place setting is very thoughtful and waiters are extremely educated to know your needs. Soft lady gaga music playing in loop ironic to the wall photos of ‘doors’ made me think about their DJ. Tried their lyonnaise mushroom, fried chicken wings and onion glazed chicken for starters as recommended by zomato and cheese spaghetti with chunky chicken for main course. Except for chicken wings rest were good. I regret ordering them. They do have normal collection for drinks but their mock tails n specialty drinks may interest you. Food portions are sufficient for a big foodie and rates definitely won’t burn a hole in your pocket. They charge very less compared to restos in koramangala with similar services. Over all best place to be with friends or family. I’m going back there to complete their menu.

Wanted to check this from many months and yesterday got a chance to explore because of a friend. We wanted good food around Lavelle road and this name flashed into my mind so checked it @ 10 30pm. Thanks to new rules in bengaluru restaurants will be open till 1am during weekends. Place was over crowded so we had to wait for around 10 mins to get a table. It is literally like “kishkinda” with small tables and less space to walk around. They don’t have much choices in food and beverages but simple was enough for us. Ordered thick cheesy masala fries, Bombay rasta sandwich for starters and tomato cheese macaroni, dhansak, bacon kheema macaroni for main course and finished with a tobloruene mousse for dessert. It was the first restaurant which brought me my main course before starters and by the time starters came we had lost our appetite for them. Music was bit loud and people were more talkative ironic to their signs saying not to make noise n disturb other customers. Old BBC broadcasts of animated films were kind of interesting with food so well done !! Because of these reasons I’m deducting a point. Food was properly cooked and spiced to match our taste. Bit pricey on drinks and bill with almost 30% of our bill were different kinds of taxes. Small suggestion- please dial that music down a bit, music choice was good but due to bad speakers we couldn’t enjoy much. Haven’t tried their Irani mutton flavors so guess I’ll be back soon to finish pending list.
